CPA Marketing seems to be a buzz word at present and there is a lot of talk about it in the Internet Marketing community. This comes as no surprise as it can be one of the most profitable forms of online business if done correctly.
CPA is an abbreviation of ‘Cost Per Action’ or ‘Cost Per Aquisition’ and basically means that an affiliate will be paid for every lead they provide a company. This is most often done via a CPA network.
The types of offers promoted on the CPA networks can range from short single field zip or email submits to full page loan and insurance applications. The shorter the form the less the payout, with a typical email/zip submit offer paying around $1.50 per lead. The longer forms will usually pay upwards of $30 per lead and some offers are often in the region $50.
Typically the more information required the higher the payout. This is because the companies want quality leads and know the lifetime value of a preselected lead can be many times the initial payment to acquire it.
I will be adding more resources on CPA marketing to this blog. Please feel free to download my report that gives a bit more detail on CPA and also CPV traffic.
